Sumo-Deadlift-Highpull – Kettlebell

This is done similar to how a regular sumo-deadlift-highpull is done, except the stance is more like a regular deadlift.

You use a bit more speed and explosiveness with this type of exercise than with a regular deadlift. The momentum you develop will assist in brining the kettlebell up to your chin height. The first part of the exercise it’s your legs / butt / hip that powers up the kettlebell, you then finish it off using your arms / shoulders / upperback and bring the kettlebell to it’s final position. Don’t hold it in place, let it go back to the ground in a controlled manner. This is one repetition.
