Renegade Rows

Renegade Rows

The renegade of the push-up family… These nasty push-ups are done with a couple of dumbbells and a lot of determination. The starting position for this is a push-up position, but with a dumbbell in each hand. Ideally the dumbbells will be of the ‘hexagon’ variety, but regular rounded dumbbells are perfectly fine, you just have to be a bit more careful so they don’t roll on you. Your legs are also spread out more than for a regular push-up as you will require the wider stance for balance.

You do a push-up, then row one of the weights. Followed by a second push-up and the rowing of the opposite weight. This counts as one repepition.
